Visit the Ecology Centre in Lynn Canyon Park, North Vancouver. Admission is by donation to the general public, no reservation required. For schools or groups, book your paid visit to the Ecology Centre in advance.

Temperate Rainforest at your Doorstep
Start your exploration of North Vancouver’s temperate rainforest at the Lynn Canyon Ecology Centre. Learn about local natural history and environmental concerns through interactive nature exhibits and workshops. Talk to our park naturalists for information about local flora and fauna and pick up a park map before heading outside to enjoy Lynn Creek, the Suspension Bridge and our beautiful hiking trails.
The Biggest Bigleaf Maple Contest
Bring in your biggest leaf to enter our competition for the grand prize: $50 in our gift shop.
There will be one winner in each age group:
- Kids: up to age 14
- Teens/Adults: ages 15+
Deadline to enter is October 31, 2026. All leaves must be collected from this year. 1 entry per person.
