Lynn Canyon Park is located in the Lynn Valley area of North Vancouver. It is the largest park in the District of North Vancouver’s park system.

Visit translink.ca to plan your ride.
Driving
Parking can be limited on weekends and holidays. Please take public transit, walk or bike when possible.
To get to Lynn Canyon Park, take Highway 1 to the Lynn Valley Road (#19) exit. If you are approaching from the west, stay right as you go off the exit, and you will go onto Lynn Valley Road. If you are approaching from the east, take the Lynn Valley road exit and turn right onto Lynn Valley Road. Continue along Lynn Valley Road and go past Lynn Valley Mall. At Peters Road, you will see a sign for Lynn Canyon Park. Turn right at Peters Road. Continue along Peters Road and into the park. Turn left into the park and you will see a parking lot.
Pay Parking
Pay parking is in effect seasonally from March 1 to October 31 from 8 am to 6 pm. Parking is $3 per hour, for a maximum of 4 hours. Payment options include Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Visa Debit, Mastercard debit, Apple pay, Google pay and any Interac supported card at the pay stations, scan to pay, or the IndigoNeo app or website.
District residents are eligible to purchase a seasonal DNV Park Parking Pass ($10.00+GST) that allows passholders to park in the lot without paying the hourly rate.
Vehicles parked in a designated disability space and display a valid disability decal are exempt from payment at the lot. These spaces are available on a first-come-first-served basis. Posted parking time limits apply. See more details about pay parking here.
There is free parking in the east Lynn Canyon parking lot, located off the northern end of Lillooet Road near the Lower Seymour Conservation Area.
Bus Parking Regulations
Buses for schools, non-profit groups, and DNV-approved groups are permitted into the west parking lot at Lynn Canyon if they purchase a Temporary Access Permit in advance of their visit. Buses without a permit are prohibited from entering the west parking lot and large buses cannot stop or park on surrounding neighbourhood streets west of the park entrance. Large buses are defined as having 25+ seats or a gross vehicle weight of 8,850 kg+. Bus operators who do not observe these rules are subject to a fine of up to $500 per infraction.
Groups that do not wish to purchase a permit may use the free east parking lot located off the northern end of Lillooet Road near the Lower Seymour Conservation Area.
Due to capacity limitations, we can only issue a limited number of permits per day, and they are issued on a first come, first served basis.
Park Use Permits
Park Use Permits are required for all groups running programs or events in District of North Vancouver Parks. Please visit the North Vancouver Recreation Commission (NVRC) website and fill out the application under the ‘Temporary park use permit for business and non-profit organizations’ tab here. NVRC will use that information to create a permit for you. If you book a program or visit to the Ecology Centre, you do not need to apply for a Park Use Permit.
