As of 2021, the District of North Vancouver is piloting a two-year pay parking program in the Lynn Canyon Park west parking lot. Pay parking is in effect seasonally from March 1 to October 31. Parking costs $3 an hour for a maximum of 4 hours. See more details here.
District residents are eligible to purchase an annual DNV Park Parking Pass ($10.20) that allows them to park in the lot without paying the hourly rate. Vehicles with a disability decal are exempt from payment at the lot.
There is free parking in the east Lynn Canyon parking lot, located off the northern end of Lillooet Road near the Lower Seymour Conservation Area.
Bus Parking Regulations
Bus permits are required year round in the Lynn Canyon Park west parking lot. A permit is required even for buses dropping off and picking up groups. Bus fees for the day are $29.50 for buses 24 seats or less or $51.00 for buses 25 seats+. Our front desk staff can take payment for the fees over the phone at 604-990-3755 anytime from 10 am to 4 pm during the week and then email you your bus permit and receipts.
Groups coming to the Ecology Centre for a visit or program will receive a complimentary bus permit. Group visits must be booked in advance by calling 604-990-3755 or emailing [email protected].
There is free bus parking in the east Lynn Canyon parking lot, located off the northern end of Lillooet Road near the Lower Seymour Conservation Area. No permit is required and it cannot be reserved.
Lynn Canyon Café
The Lynn Canyon Cafe is now open, check with the cafe for hours, public washrooms located at the cafe are open year round.
The Lynn Canyon Ecology Centre, the Lynn Canyon Cafe, the public washrooms, and the covered picnic area are all wheelchair accessible. The suspension bridge and park trails are not wheelchair or stroller accessible.
There are no public washrooms at the Ecology Centre. The public washrooms complete with baby change tables and water fountains are on the west side of the Lynn Canyon Cafe building.
Park Rangers and First Aid
The ranger and first aid station is located on the east side of the Cafe building. Rangers patrol the park year round and the ranger and first aid station is staffed from May to September.
Dogs in the Park
Dogs must be leashed on the trails north of Twin Falls Bridge. Dogs may be off leash but under control on trails south of Twin Falls Bridge. All dog poop must be scooped. Guide and assistance dogs are welcome in the Ecology Centre. No other dogs are allowed into the Ecology Centre.
There are no public phones in Lynn Canyon Park. Cell phone signals are generally good near the Ecology Centre, Cafe, picnic area, and suspension bridge. Cell phone signals can be unreliable in some areas of the canyon.

The Ecology Centre and Gift Shop accepts cash, debit, VISA, MasterCard and American Express.
Visitors are welcome to take personal photos in the Ecology Centre museum.
