Visit the Ecology Centre in Lynn Canyon Park. Admission is by donation to the general public, no reservation required. For schools or groups, book your paid visit to the Ecology Centre in advance.

Register for our weekly Forest Explorers preschool program! Every Tuesday from 9:30 am to 11:00 am. Ages 2-5 with an adult, $15 per child.

We are offering 2 Pro-D Mini-Camps this fall: Oct. 24 and Dec. 5 from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. Ages 5-8. $32 per child.

Fall program registration is open! Sign up now for mushroom walks and winter craft workshops. We are offering a mix for families and also just adults.

🍁 The Biggest Bigleaf Maple Contest! 🍁

Bring in your big maple leaf to enter our contest for the grand prize: $50 in the Ecology Centre gift shop.

Each person entering will also get to choose something from our prize box, just for participating.

Deadline to enter is October 31, 2025.

*All leaves must be collected from this year. One entry per person.

Temperate Rainforest at your Doorstep

Start your exploration of North Vancouver’s temperate rainforest at the Lynn Canyon Ecology Centre. Learn about local natural history and environmental concerns through interactive nature exhibits and workshops. Talk to our park naturalists for information about local flora and fauna and pick up a park map before heading outside to enjoy Lynn Creek, the Suspension Bridge and our beautiful hiking trails.
